A sculpture by Swiss artist Alberto Giacometti sold for a world record of over 100 million dollars.

The 1961 metal figure,"L'homme qui marche I" ("Walking Man I") fetched exactly 104,327,006 dollars (65,001,250 pounds) at Sotheby's on February 4th.

This shows utter imbalance of society where some moron (probably a saudi price) has so much cash that buying a piece of garbage is exitement.

This is not historical find, not thousands of years old, not made of solid gold. This is a 50 year old piece of scrap metal that some brain dead sculpture put together in his garage.

This amounts to worshiping a piece of garbage.

I have a 1965 dodge hubcap that when sun hits is, it glows. Bidding starts at One Million.
